We enjoy learning something new. Learning can be done in many ways, and some people prefer learning by listening to podcasts. Podcasts are a great way to learn because they only require you to pay attention with your ears (and attention, of course). Podcasts are also great because you can do other things while listening to them.
There are tons of podcasts out there, so let us pick a couple of them that are straight-up weird, each in their own way.
Weird Sisters Podcast
This name is such a huge pun that one cannot but laugh at it. This is a podcast that tries its best to make you laugh while re-reading the Harry Potter franchise. Danielle and Alison are here to entertain us while reading some of our favorite books, in their own interesting way. If you wanted to listen to Harry Potter, or haven’t yet had the chance to read the books, then this is the right podcast to listen to.
Huberman Lab Podcast
Learning is a great thing that we sometimes forget to do with all the things that are here to distract us, from our phones to our laptops, smartwatches, and more. The Huberman Lab Podcast is recorded by Dr. Andrew Huberman, a professor of neurobiology at the Stanford University of Medicine.
The podcast is far from weird unless you consider learning about your body and brain and the various mechanisms that take place when you eat, sleep, drink, play video games or work out. It is a great podcast for anybody who wants to learn.
Behind the Bastards
This is an interesting podcast that takes history and gives us another view of things. Villains and evildoers are well-known to us, or are they? We know of some historical figures, but what about some of the lesser-known villains? This podcast deals with some of those figures, which are still recorded by history but most of us don’t know a thing about them.
Your Favorite Band Sucks
This is a great podcast to listen to if you want to keep your tastes in check. It is interesting because no band is safe from these guys. They will try and dissect every band and give reasons why the band sucks. This might seem cynical or simply hateful, but in reality, it is a very fun podcast that will leave you laughing.
Project Moonbase
The podcast is called Project Moonbase, The Historic Sound of the Future and it is about music, particularly music we have never heard of. This is great because broadening our taste and knowledge is always a good thing.
